Our client is looking to expand their IT sales team by recruiting a New Business IT Sales Consultant to cover the Bristol/Cardiff areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical salesperson to join a leading IT services provider and play a pivotal role in the growth of the company.
The position will focus on developing new business and the successful candidate will see the sales opportunities through to close of sale.
The IT Sales Consultant is required to apply both sales and technical knowledge and although they will have support from other technical members of staff, they are expected to have a general technical understanding of the solutions that they are providing and can successfully articulate the benefits.
Successful candidates should have a good knowledge and experience within the IT industry and will have previously sold:
- MS Office 365
- Managed Services
- Microsoft Teams
The role is client-facing and not telesales, therefore candidates must have field sales experience.
Salary: £36k-£40k, dependent on experience (OTE 55k – £57k uncapped
The role will be based from home. However, candidates will be expected to travel to the Exeter office 2-3 times per week in the first 4-8 weeks, thereafter at least once a week for the sales meeting, usually on a Monday.
Candidates must have their own vehicle with business insurance.
There is a six month probationary period.
